Additional history that happened since the last application (their history at the school before they left, what happened and caused them to return):

So, you know. After his father admitted him to Smash, Lucas was almost immediately shown how special this school really is. Not even a week of him being there, he was suddenly turned into an adult of all things. To make matters worse, everyone was shown what his deepest fears and nightmares were. It wasn't... fun at all. That happened, things were cool for a while. He was to be roped into blind dates and all that. Things got quiet for a while (wow, amazing Smash. it's quiet?) but that wouldn't last for long at all.

Actually, he got bored and he skittered back to Sinnoh for a little while to get a new pokemon (Monferno) and two badges. Things would be pretty quiet, and then not long after that Vashta would become a Shadow Pokemon and Goose and Lucas would have to try to help her. They did help in a sense, but it wasn't enough to make her switch back to what she used to be. It messed him up in a sense of which he just wanted to help those in need and he couldn't. It sucked, he felt like he let a lot of people down in a way.

Cyrus ended up coming to the school and that really put him into defensive mode. He knew of the syndicate leader, and he knew of some of the crap that he did. Oh my god. Lucas ended up getting Derp Squad together (composed of himself, Brendan and Gold mainly (Red on the side)) and they tried to get information out of the Galactic Leader by any means necessary (no they totally did go dress in drag for his class, it was hilarious and it totally happened.) even if they weren't really successful in it. They still had fun and that's all that matters!!

St. Patrick's day came, Lucas got wasted, and the legendary he had grown fond of (a certain d-a-r-k-r-a-i of course) was missing until that day. She ended up knocking him a bit of sense and boy was he embarrassed about that. He had already been fond of her, but he was starting to look up to her as a motherly figure of sorts. To make matters worse there was a few events that really put him over. Oh man ... uh. Trying to stop a forest from burning, a bunch of gangs trying to destroy the town, what more could go wrong? Oh... Kerosene got himself all nice and shadowized, and the end result left Lucas bedridden for the week and gave him a nice small scar on his back.

No, wait. After he was released from the hospital, Vashta had been pretty awol on and off and she ended up just plain jane leaving again, which was apparently the best timing ever. Actually, this was great timing because Lucas used this an excuse to disappear for a while himeself. Also sometime around this area, there would be a really awesome event, he had been growing so fond of an Empoleon who had joined the school, and he saw that this pokemon had no trainer. He really did jump on this before it was too late. He honestly wanted to get himself better and during that time he was back at Sinnoh for the 34,234,203,492,342th time that year Rowan called him back to say "HEY CYRUS IS TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD ON THE SPEAR PILLAR". He went as fast as he could to get back home in time and witness Dawn save the world. The world was saved, Cyrus was thrown into Giratina's land for punishment and things were peaceful yet again. Lucas decided to go off and train himself and get his badges done while he was out in Sinnoh.

Uhhh. Things really did get quiet again on his front, not much of interest happened, he would have a second birthday at the Academy, Christmas would go by... he would argue with Cyrus, you know same old Smash Academy business Whatever whatever. This normality went on until the next Valentine's day (2011 I mean!) He would end up having his crush (a miss Lip) almost hating him forever because of those darned cupid bots. hrrngh. He would eventually have things go right again, and uhh.... yeah.

It wasn't long before Unova trainers/pokemon started showing up, and not long after Rowan decided to give him the responsibility of learning about new pokemon. He was left with the responsibility of a Lilipup egg, which would rapidly grow during the next few months, even if by the next month there would be an event involving chicks turning those he knew into stone including himself.

It wasn't until Theo would return and things would happen between the two. His own pokemon made him rethink his own actions. Was he really a good trainer? Was he really that of a good person. All and all, he got the awkward out between himself and his Empoleon who had such trust issues with him and he fixed it ... and he cried. God did the boy cry.

Next on the list of events that were pretty important was the following: Gold found the body. Lucas jumped to his aid to help him calm down, and god did that bring up a lot of awkward feelings between himself and the traumatized boy. A lot of feelings and it ... well. It made him think again.

He left... mainly because he needed to leave. There was no way to put it other than that, he had a lot of feelings to himself. He needed to really make sure him and his team was getting stronger. Even if he still could not beat Cynthia (he wasn't even going to try to trek back to the Elite 4 again), he knew there was so much he could be doing to make himself stronger, and god almighty did he.

And then he also flew to Newmoon and battled/captured a Darkrai named Vashta... uh. Actually renamed to Alecto upon capture :3. Honestly, though, said Darkrai is not traveling back with him, since he's not going to drag her around if she doesn't want to go or not. :C She's still 'free' to do as she wishes, he's just the OT for her now. This gave him a quick realization that perhaps he was ready to come back now, and well, he went back!

Personality Changes (ie, some characters grow are are different based on where they are taken from. Please write down any changes in personality compared to the first app):

First off, Lucas is much more confident in himself and much of what he does. He isn't the meek and mild little trainer who couldn't get by most of his sentences whenever caught off-guard without stuttering and going off all flustered and not being scared so easily. The years at Smash have almost completely lifted him out of his shell. There are still moments where his confidence wavers and he breaks into stutters, and he shows his emotion whenever he can. He doesn't take it as weakness, either. He knows what not showing emotion does to people, and he honestly could never bring himself to be something like that.

But he still believes that he's not as strong as his friends, and that he does make his mistakes as they are, but this doesn't mean that he's going to sit here and over-analyze his flaws, oh no no. He uses those flaws to try to better himself, even if he still can't shake some of them. He's easy to give people his utmost trust, sometimes to an extent of being a bad thing. He has had that trust used against him, and some of the times that he has had bad things happen to him, he still finds himself trusting those who have wronged him, thinking of it as an honest mistake. Pokemon are also a special case, he cannot bring himself to hate any pokemon even if they have wronged him or mistreated him. He takes this as a sign of being a bad person to a pokemon, and he honestly cannot bring himself to that. The only time that he would feel the need to actually have strong dislike for a person is repeat offenses, or if someone is obviously aligned with evil. He also greatly dislikes those who mistreat their pokemon, and all of those associated with syndicate and you know... BAD PEOPLE.

He's still very much a good person, safe to say. He's a character of pure heart, wanting only the best for his friends and everything. He does not personally hold grudges to his friends if they've wronged him, especially if the circumstances were against the person. He is such a trusting trainer, he trusts his pokemon, he trusts his friends, he trusts his family blah blah blah.

He still holds his faith in his pokemon and still places them first in his heart, there's no way he'd do anything else other than that. He's known that he's not the best trainer, but he knows that he must trust his team as much as his team can trust him. He has this complete bond to much of his team, even of some of the pokemon act their nature towards him.

He's also still completely dependent upon the support and want of others, and when shown to everyone about his deepest and darkest fears, he still has that slight abandonment issue of his. Honestly, it isn't as bad as it was a year or so ago, but the want and need to be accepted and shown that he is still a part of the group.

So basically? He's still such a good trainer at heart, and he honestly does try his hardest to show that he is a good trainer. He loves all pokemon so very much, and he could not be angry with them if he tried, no matter what. Only bad guys. And cyrus, but he mainly just trolls him/kills him with kindness.

[The feed cuts on, and there's a trainer boy we haven't seen in a while! He smiles, waving lightly and looking extremely happy right now, almost relieved it seems. ]

Hey folks, it's been a while, hasn't it? I'm sorry for the abrupt leave, but whenever the wild calls, you just really can't help but listen to it!

Anyways, for those who don't know me, I'm Lucas, Professor Rowan's Junior Assistant and a trainer of Sinnoh. I've been here for a good three years now, but I've been gone for a few months. I've actually made another change in my team, as much as I hated to leave some of them behind, I felt pretty bad not having some of them with me the last time. It won't be that hard to figure out which ones are mine, I promise! And... I also promise they'll still be on their best behavior, as always! Also, for the record, they're always itching for a battle, and we'd love to have one if anyone wants to accept the challenge!

Uh... have I missed anything really important lately? I know the last time I was here we had a killer on the loose. Did we catch them yet or something?

[Private to Theo]

I need to talk. I'm [He sighs, removing his beret.] I'm really sorry I left as abruptly as I did. It wasn't fair to me to do that to you, especially after I promised you I wasn't going to leave. I just--- I had to leave. I had to prove myself that I was even going to be able to really be the trainer I should.

I'm really sorry.

[Private to Gold]

Told you I was coming home. Um, sometime soon whenever I get situated, do you want to go and catch up? I know that I've got a few things I want to show you! Maybe something I want to give you if I can find it in my bags.

In-Character 3rd person sample:

Breathe in.

God how he loved the smell of the rain. It was starting to get warm, and it was so great for him. It was his favorite time of the year, where it was not yet too hot, but it was not as cold as it was in Sinnoh. Even if his current outfit was getting soaked, he didn't care. He was finally back where he belonged, and he was so happy to be here again. The months just seemed to fly by, but at the same time they did not go by as fast as they should have to him.

He had a lot on his mind, safe to say. He left a pokemon, he left his friends, he left a lot of people without much word. he had a lot of explaining to do, and he knew he was probably making a few people disappointed in him.

Breathe out.

But he knew at the same time if he didn't come home when he did, he was going to make them worry or mad or whatever much more than they would be now. Lucas clutches onto his bags, feeling a soft nudge to his arm by his Togekiss. He was glad to have him by this time, he needed the Jubilee pokemon more than he realized, especially if things were going to possibly get rough. So, he lets the rain drizzle on his arms a little bit more as, and he began walking towards the gates of the Academy. When he was to pass by them, the rain would slowly stop.

The trainer glances down to his team, smiling to them."Come on guys, we've got a home waiting for us!" With that, he started walking towards the Academy. The rain that had been drizzling down was lifting as he passed by the doors, as if also welcoming him back home.
